What battery sizes are available?
PowerOcean uses modular 5 kWh battery packs. Nick will size the system around your household use, solar generation and future plans rather than simply recommending the largest battery.
Can it be added to existing solar panels?
A retrofit may be possible, including PowerOcean DC Fit in suitable installations. The existing panels, inverter, electrical setup and intended use all need checking first.
Will it work in a power cut?
Not automatically. Backup circuits or gateway equipment must be designed into the system where needed. PowerOcean DC Fit remains grid-dependent and does not provide outage backup.
